Amazon India Couture Week 2015: Fashion gala ends on a glamorous

The last day of the Amazon India Couture Week 2015 ended on a note of evening glamour and luxury. Delhi-designer Manav Gangwani started with an afternoon show at Taj Palace hotel called 'Le'amoureuse', meaning the beloved, which included a host of evening dresses fit to seduce any lover. Feminine yet sexy in design, the ensembles included skin-hugging and figure-accentuating gowns in grey, silver, coral, blue and purple wine. While most gowns were sophisticated and sexy with geometric embroidery patterns, the designer pushed the envelope with a range of risquÃ© designs, with plunging necklines sheer panels and strategically placed embroidery. Fashion technology is novel expression of beauty on clothes: Governor

BHOPAL: Governor Ram Naresh Yadav has said fashion technology is an art to make clothes beautiful through novel methods. He said fashion designing is influenced by socio-cultural trends. It change with times and place. Yadav was addressing the first convocation of National Fashion Technology Institute here where he distributed degrees to students of first batch of graduates in fashion technology. 32 students received graduation degrees in lifestyle accessories course and 26 students in textile designing. Governor gave away certificate, gold medal and Rs. 11 thousand respectively to Nishtha Arora, Shruti Bisen and Saba Fatima for outstanding performance in fashion technology education.
