Indian designers steal show at World Boutique Hong Kong

A group of young, talented Indian designers, led by India’s BD Somani Institute of Art and Fashion Technology, mesmerised the onlookers with their exquisite designs at the recently concluded Asia's leading fashion event World Boutique Hong Kong.

Attracting interests from buyers belonging to South America, China, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Spain, upcoming Indian designers like Shraddha Vora, Shouger Merchant Doshi, C Singh and Bhavik Dattani featured their creations at the fashion parade of World Boutique.

Multiple award winning design talent Shraddha Vora stole the show with her fusion fashion collections, where as Shouger Doshi made a mark with his 'Zanaaya Couture’ ensembles, which were a chic and trendy take on Indian outfits without disturbing the traditional elements in them.

Upcoming designer C Singh presented a colourful contemporary Indian range made of different varieties of fabrics.

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), World Boutique Hong Kong is one of the major trend-setting fashion events which draws several international buyers. The exhibition showcases a range of fashion products and accessories by independent designers from all over the world.
