Fashion Design Council of India has partnered with online digital portal Amazon for the upcoming India Fashion Week, which begins on March 27.
Amazon replaces Wills Lifestyle, which worked with FDCI for nine years.
"FDCI has had two very warm associations, one for six and another for nine years. We have very close relationships with them so we were always looking for someone, who could fit the bill. We are looking forward to working with Amazon. Amazon is not a small player," Suniel Sethi, president of FDCI said.
The five-day fashion week (March 25-29) is scheduled to take place at the Pragati Maidan here.
"We are very excited with our association with FDCI and are gearing up for the upcoming Amazon India Fashion Week," said Vikas Purohit, Head, Fashion, Amazon India.
The organisers are in talks to live stream the Fashion Week on Amazon website.
