Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2016 grand finale in kareena kapoor khan and adorable baby bump

Begum of Pataudi Kareena Kapoor Khan closed the Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2016 as showstopper for celebrated designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee on August 28. The actress who is expecting was super confident as she sashayed down the LFW 2016 ramp at the grand finale. Looking resplendent and glowing in a shimmering heavily embroidered but comfortable traditional outfit, Kareena Kapoor Khan showed off her baby bump. The Veere Di Wedding actress revealed at the LFW 2016 grand finale that walking the ramp with her baby for the “first time” was an emotional moment for her.

“For me, it’s quite an emotional moment, as this was the first time we (Kareena and her unborn baby) took the ramp together. It was a moment to cherish,” said Kareena Kapoor Khan at the post show press conference at LFW Winter Festive 2016. Kareena, who has been hitting back at people in the industry objecting to her pregnancy as far as her career is concerned, like director Rohit Shetty, yet again emphasised that pregnancy is a normal thing and one can continue working. “I was happy and confident (on the ramp),” Kareena said, adding, “Pregnant woman can walk and fly and for me it’s absolutely normal. When it comes to my work, acting is my passion and I will work till I die. As long as I am doing what I love, I am going to do that.”

Just recently Kareena had said that she is going to work until she is in her eighties, and the spunky actress has been saying this for a while now. Even when she got married to actor Saif Ali Khan and became his Begum, she had said the same thing, implying that she is not one to give up her career just for the sake of it. We admire this quality in Kareena, which is such an inspiration to young women who want to pursue their careers post marriage.
