The designer Karan Arora has some suggestions in fashion staples for brides to be

If you are going to be a bride soon, make sure you pick the right ensembles with the latest cuts, weaving techniques and intricate detailing of motifs, says an expert.

Delhi-based designer Karan Arora has some suggestions:

- Lehenga: Lehenga offers a very structured flare with exemplary finish, and can be paired up with heavily embellished fuchsia pink silk dupatta, red net dupatta and pure crepe red choli.

- The sari tales: A sari is graceful and apt for a wedding purpose. It can be draped in various styles. It is trendy yet traditional, and suits all occasions. From sleeveless blouse to a corset, from bandhgala to a deep neck, from a handloom silk sari to a designer ethnic couture, sari is a versatile outfit.

- Anarkali: Brighten your bridal look with a floor-length Anarkali. This ensemble with a draping dupatta can be worn at any event -- be it you wedding, mehendi, cocktail parties or any other significant day. You can also team it up with a dupatta with heavy mirror work.

- Shararas: Shararas have made its way into Indian bridal couture. Ancient motifs, rich embroideries, intricate weavings on woven silhouettes and pompous silks are all back in fashion.
